Derby IT services firm welcomes new operations director
Fortitude Nicsa Global, an IT support and services company in Derby, has announced the appointment of Ian Mills as its new operations director.
With over 25 years of experience in the technology and service delivery sectors, Mills brings a wealth of operational knowledge, leadership skills, and a collaborative mindset to his new role.
His career began at Fujitsu Services, where he worked in various operational and managerial positions.
He started as a service controller and quickly advanced to managing major customer accounts as a service delivery manager, overseeing network connectivity across data centres and thousands of branch locations.
Mills’ career at Fujitsu spanned nearly 25 years, during which he held several key roles, including NOC and Enterprise Management Manager, SOC Manager, and Field Services Manager.
His career culminated in a position as service/operations director, where he led multiple functions, including Supplier Management, Revenue Assurance, Regulatory Compliance, and Service Desk Support.
After Fujitsu, Mills expanded his expertise further at Comms-Care.
