New face at East Mids M&E consultancy as firm goes for growth

Building Services Design (BSD), the mechanical and electrical engineering (M&E) consultancy which has offices in Derby, Kettering and Nottingham, has appointed Alexandra Kowalczuk as its new business development consultant.

The business says it has appointed Kowalczuk to support its expansion of services in the East Midlands.

“I’m delighted to have joined such a well-established and well-regarded company,” said Kowalczuk, who has five years’ experience in business development.

“Prior to business development, I worked in local government for 30 years within various civic and elected members’ offices; I headed up teams which were responsible for high profile events as well as operations and overseeing various civic offices and councillors.

“I’ve lived in Leicestershire my entire life and first came across BSD four years ago and have had a relationship with the team ever since. It’s fantastic to now be officially on board and be part of the exciting future of the business as it works on more and more transformative projects in the region,” continued Alex.

BSD worked on the award-winning New Walk Museum and Art Gallery in Leicester, and also delivered M&E services for Topps Tiles’ headquarters refurbishment at Grove Park – which has seen a total redesign of the premises, with an overall cost of £2m.
