Nottingham auction house set to break records
Nottingham-based auctioneer John Pye Property says it is on track to offer a record-breaking number of properties this year through its online-only property auctions.
After bringing 392 properties with a combined value in excess of £90m to market during 2017, opening a new northern hub in Salford Quays, Manchester to meet growing demand in the North West and expanding its expert team, the firm says last year was the most successful year to date for the company.
Richard Reed, head of property at John Pye Property, said: “2017 has been a fantastic year for John Pye Property. We achieved some major milestones which have put us in an even better position for 2018.
“In October last year, we offered our 1000th lot to market, totalling a lot value in excess of £150m since we began our property auction services. We are already on track to surpass the £200m milestone in the coming months.
“To meet this growing demand, we have invested in our staff to service our three regional ‘hubs’ in London, Nottingham and Manchester. Training is encouraged from within and three of our staff have recently become qualified auctioneers through the National Association of Valuers and Auctioneers (NAVA).”

2018 is John Pye & Sons Ltd 50th anniversary year, and to mark the occasion the property division is offering 0% seller fees, 0% marketing costs, and 0% entry fees throughout the year for its monthly online property auctions.
