Property deal to bring ‘landmark’ residential scheme to Nottingham

A new “landmark” residential development in Nottingham could be on the way after the former Gala Bingo site in St Ann’s was sold.

BSP Holdings, advised by Savills has bought the site from Buzz Group Ltd for an undisclosed sum.

Subject to planning permission, the property development and investment company aims to redevelop the site into a new residential/student scheme.

Adam Watson, investment director at BSP Holdings, said: “This is an exciting project for BSP Holdings. We have the opportunity to create a landmark development in Nottingham City Centre. This acquisition shows our confidence in the market and represents a multi-million pound investment in the regeneration of Nottingham.”

Victor Ktori, head of office at Savills Nottingham, said: “Situated within a popular location on the edge of Nottingham city centre, the property provided BSP Holdings with an excellent opportunity to acquire the site which is ripe for redevelopment in an area which is crying out for new housing stock.”
