VF Corporation owns the Timberland brand

US fashion giant VF Corporation is expected to increase its presence in the East Midlands, according to reports.

Property Week says that VF Corporation, which owns brands such as Vans, North Face, Timberland and Dickies, will take 579,000 sq ft at Mountpark Bardon in a pre-let deal.

VF Corporation already has offices on Nottingham’s NG2 business park.

Mountpark Bardon

VF Corporation turns over £9.2bn a year and was established in 1899. It operates in over 170 countries and employs 70,000 people.

Mountpark Bardon is a 145-acre distribution and logistics park. The first phase includes three buildings totalling over 1.4 million sq ft, including the pre-let of a 1.06 million sq ft fulfilment centre to Amazon. Units 2 and 3 have also been let, completing phase 1. A second phase of development has been granted planning permission and will include unit sizes from 200,000 sq ft up to 1.3 million sq ft.

The first three companies to move onto Mountpark Bardon were Pharmacy2U, Amazon and Eddie Stobart.
