Former Post Office to be turned into flats

A former Post Office looks set to be turned into flats after a deal to sell its first and second floors was completed.

FHP has brokered a deal to sell the old Post Office in Chesterfield to Balmoral Investment & Development which will turn the space into 10 apartments.

Phil Daniels of FHP said: “There is still an appetite for small scale town centre living and this property’s excellent location on the historic Market Square appealed to the purchaser for their rental model.

“We are currently advising a number of clients on former office properties suitable for residential development, with this market continuing to remain buoyant.”
