Two housing schemes worth £12.6m set to start in Liverpool and Wythenshawe

Two new housing developments worth a total of £12.6m are set to go ahead following Warrington-based Your Housing Group’s appointment of contractors MCI Developments and ENGIE.

Building 100 homes in total, the first development is off Edington Street, near Wavertree Technology Park in Liverpool, and the second development is in Wythenshawe.

Both will feature new one-bedroom apartments and a mix of two- and three-bedroom homes under the group’s Nuvu Living brand and will be available to rent, with Wythenshawe also featuring 16 shared ownership homes.

The homes will provide a much-needed offering in sought-after areas of Manchester and Liverpool.

Your Housing Group has appointed MCI Developments in Wavertree and ENGIE at the Amberley Drive, Wythenshawe site.

Your Housing Group owns and manages more than 28,000 properties across the North of England and has ambitions to build 5,700 more homes in the next five years.

The homes in Wavertree and Wythenshawe are expected to be popular with commuters, families and the local community thanks to their proximity to nearby transport links and facilities.

Construction on the new homes is expected to start in the Autumn.
