Legal briefs: Restaurant steams into old shipping warehouse
MANCHESTER law firm Kuits Solicitors has advised Violet Hospitality on the launch of its debut site, Urban Cookhouse, in Manchester city centre.
Kuits advised the management of the Salford-based hospitality firm on its commercial lease, led by commercial property partner Martin Davies, and its licensing application, led by head of licensing Tony Lyons.
The new restaurant, bar and lounge will be located at 54 Princess Street, a former shipping warehouse within central Manchester.
Violet Hospitality is managed and owned by local restaurateur Tim Coulston, who is looking to modernise the North West’s food and drink scene with his own new and unique ideas.
The restaurant will be open all week for lunch and dinner, with the lounge offering a relaxed space to enjoy music and drinks throughout the night, thanks to its unique New York loft style.
Martin Davies commented: “We are delighted to have worked with Tim in providing a comprehensive legal service offering for this new venture, and are looking forward to the launch.”
