Birmingham developer named one of UK’s most inspiring

Broadway Residences by Seven Capital

West Midlands developer Seven Capital has been listed as one of the country’s fastest growing SMEs.

The firm, based in Colmore Row, has been included in the latest London Stock Exchange’s 1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain, which highlights the businesses enjoying strong sector growth.

To be included in the list, companies need to show consistent revenue growth over a minimum of three years, significantly outperforming their industry peers.

Seven Capital is listed as one of only 25 real estate companies within this year’s report. The report concludes the real estate sector has achieved the fastest growth rate in the UK, averaging upwards of 100% compared to the list average of 70% growth.

Phil Carlin, director at Seven Capital said: “We’re thrilled to have been identified in this year’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain report. Over recent years Seven Capital has achieved significant growth, particularly within our West Midlands catchment area. In the past 12 months alone we have completed over seven developments, with a further 11 developments currently under construction.”

Xavier Rolet, chief executive, London Stock Exchange Group said: “Four years on, LSEG’s ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain’ report continues to highlight the dynamic, entrepreneurial and ambitious businesses across the country that are boosting UK productivity, driving economic growth and creating jobs.

“The strength and diversity of these companies is readily apparent with a broad mix of UK regions and sectors represented. These companies are the very heart of an ‘anti-fragile’ economy: more robust; more flexible and less prone to boom and bust. We must ensure we continue doing all we can to support high growth potential businesses like these.”

Seven Capital is responsible for a string of high profile residential conversion and new-build apartment schemes across Birmingham including the Broadway scheme at Five Ways and many others.
