Pubco director handed new appointment on a plate

The chief financial officer at Wolverhampton-based pubco and brewer Marston’s has been appointed to the board of another of the region’s high profile companies.

In addition to being CFO, Andrew Andrea is also corporate development officer at Marston’s, which recently announced a large expansion with the £55m acquisition of rival brewer Charles Wells.

Mr Andrea has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of Stoke-on-Trent pottery maker, Portmeirion Group. The appointment is with immediate effect.

Portmeirion, which sells its famous pottery in markets including the UK, United States and South Korea, began trading on the Alternative Investment Market in June 2004.
