GJS Dillon appointed to manage £3m leisure development

Loungers, at the new Riverside leisure development in Kidderminster

Worcestershire commercial property consultancy GJS Dillon has been appointed to manage a new £3m leisure development in Kidderminster town centre.

The agency will manage the four restaurant / retail units and collect rent and service charge payments from the tenants at Exchange Street Properties’ new Riverside development.

Three units at the 12,000 sq ft development have already been let to Loungers, Le Bistrot Pierre and Coffee #1. Only one unit of 2,000 sq ft remains vacant.

John Dillon, manaing director, GJS Dillon, said: “This is an important win for our Property Management department as we seek to expand this side of our business.”

The Riverside development, named after its outlook over the River Stour, is built on the site of the former headquarters of Brintons Carpets. It was acquired by Exchange Street Properties in 2014.

Max Goucher, director at Exchange Street Properties, said the appointment of GJS Dillon was in keeping with the company’s aim of using local surveyors.
