Software firm boosted by £1.2m contract wins

Software and IT business, Castleton Technology has secured two new multi-year contracts, with a combined value of £1.2m.

The Sutton Coldfield-based firm, which supplies software and managed services to the public and not-for-profit sectors, said the first contract was a 10-year supply deal with Irish social housing provider, Circle VHA.

The contract is on a hosted basis for Castleton’s integrated product suite, including the housing and finance system, electronic data records management system, financial modelling system, reporting system and Agile system.

The second contract is a renewal for Places for People, one of the largest property and leisure management, development and regeneration companies in the UK,

Places for People, which has more than 180,000 properties under ownership or management, has extended its contract for Castleton’s Maintain solution by two and a half years, with the option to extend it for a further twelve months.

The contract’s scope includes repairs management software, technical services, cloud services and integration middleware that enables Places for People to process orders for work directly from third-party property management systems.

Commenting on the new contracts, Dean Dickinson, chief executive of Castleton, said: “We are delighted that Circle has chosen Castleton as its provider of an integrated system. This reinforces our position as not only a ‘one stop shop’ that serves the social housing sector, but also highlights the breadth of our offering and our ability to deliver a fully hosted solution.

“The ongoing partnership with Places for People is a testament to our ability to evolve our solutions alongside the demands of our customers and continually support their business objectives by providing the functionality and reliability they require.

“These contracts demonstrate our ability to cross sell and upsell the product suite and we remain confident of increasing the number of customers who continue to take multiple products.”
