Property firm snaps up prime site for logistics development

Property group Goodman has acquired a 10.3 acre site at Bermuda Park in Nuneaton for a logistics development.

The site will provide up to 230,000 sq ft of distribution warehouse space.

Work is expected to start on the development in the spring of next year, with the warehouse available for occupation from December 2019.

Bermuda Park is home to a number of retailers, manufacturers and third-party logistics providers.

Goodman development director Nigel Dolan said: “Bermuda Park offers a prime site for logistics and distribution given its strategic location and excellent transport links. With a shortage of Grade A space of this size available and clear market demand, we anticipate the development will appeal to logistics companies and retailers operating on either a national or regional basis.”
