An expanding health and safety company has created three jobs as part of its move into a new Wolverhampton base.

Property agent Bulleys arranged the deal for Online Safety Systems to move into offices in The Westlands on Compton Road.

Online Safety Systems, previously based in Shropshire, specialises in providing solutions for companies’ corporate risk management and health and safety requirements.

Jonathan Smith, managing director of Online Safety Solutions, said: “Our revenues have grown by around 30% in the last year, building on continuing increases of the past few years.

“We are expanding more on our London projects, and with the Midlands being our base we needed to be closer to commuting links into the capital.

“Having an office within an established environment within a good communal infrastructure was critical, and so we’re really pleased with The Westlands.”

Edward Jenkinson, agency surveyor at Bulleys, said: “The Westlands is an attractive building dating back to the 19th century that provides occupiers with an alternative attractive setting away from the city centre.

“The site is occupied by a mixture of professionals, enjoys pleasant landscape areas and benefits from a private car park, and we’re sure it will be the perfect base for Online Safety Solution’s ongoing growth.”

Bulleys has also arranged a deal for physiotherapist Matthew Farrow to take another unit at The Westlands, which means the offices are now fully let.

Both lettings were arranged from a headline rent of £12 per sq ft with landlord DPS Architects, which is also based at The Westlands.
