JLR issues product recall on Evoque and Freelanders

JAGUAR Land Rover is to recall hundreds of its vehicles worldwide after potential faults were identified in the braking and steering systems.

The company said that around 800 of its Halewood-produced Range Rover Evoque models were affected by the steering fault and were being recalled, while 600 Evoques and Freelanders were being called back because of a brakes issue.

The manufacturer has issued the recall even though there have been no problems or accidents reported.
