Reporting to Invoice Finance Managing Director Damon Walford, Smith takes on the role of Regional Managing Director for the Northern Region, McFarlane takes on the role of Regional Managing Director for the South & Midlands and Dodsworth becomes Strategic Development Director.

Walford said: “Nick, Ross and John have all held senior positions within Aldermore Invoice Finance and therefore have considerable experience of both the business and the market in which it operates.

“The restructuring has enabled us to streamline the business in preparation for the implementation of ambitious growth plans during 2013 and beyond. We’re in good shape to meet the challenges of a demanding market and I have full confidence that under the expert guidance of Nick, Ross and John, Aldermore Invoice Finance will continue to go from strength-to-strength.”

New man for Jobson James

BIRMINGHAM independent insurance broker Jobson James has strengthened its board with the appointment of Chris Swain as Director, HR and Compliance.  He replaces Barry Cousins who has retired after many years with the company.

Swain joins from Stourbridge brokers Ingram Hawkins and Nock where he was a Director for four and a half years.

The appointment is in recognition of the ever increasing importance of governance and compliance with the FSA.  Compliance and regulation dominate the agenda and the appointment will ensure that Jobson James continues to meet and exceed all FSA requirements in this critical area.

Richard Waltier, Jobson James director, said: “We are delighted to welcome Chris on board.  His ‘hands on’ broking experience allied to his compliance skills will ensure we meet regulatory requirements at all levels.”
