Traffic Alert: Birmingham rush hour thwarted by twin incidents
MOTORISTS heading home from Birmingham city centre have been warned about two separate incidents which could delay their journey.
West Midlands Fire Service is currently dealing with a large blaze at a derelict factory in the Jewellery Quarter, while Belgrave Middleway is currently blocked in both directions following an accident.
The fire, in Barr Street, has seen six crews dispatched to the incident and the emergency services have advised people to avoid the area if possible.
The accident has caused queues in both directions on the approaches to Haden Circus and again, drivers have been urged to avoid the area if they can.
