Matthews & Goodman appointed to mixed-use scheme

PROPERTY company Matthews & Goodman has been appointed to advise the management company of the City Heights scheme in Birmingham.

City Heights is a mixed-use development comprising 82 apartments with a retail offer and is situated on Old Snow Hill, close to the city centre.

The instruction follows the appointment of Paul Boothman as Head of Residential Property Management at Matthews & Goodman in January, while it also aligns with the firm’s strategy to grow its residential client base nationally.

Mr Boothman said: “Since our appointment we have identified and started to implement strategies that have led to significant savings for the leaseholders at City Heights as well as delivering opportunities that have helped generate additional income.

“This in turn has enabled us to undertake historic works which will help to maintain the appeal of the property in what is an ever growing market.”

The appointment also comes after the firm conducted a survey of residential occupiers, investors and management company directors to identify the issues most important to them.
