Digital research agency on track for record turnover

Digital research agency ResearchBods says it is on track to achieve record turnover after major investment in its data and technology capability.

The Leeds-based company has seen 55% growth in revenue from the same period last year, October 2016 vs October 2017, setting them up to exceed its £4.8m turnover target for this financial year, running from June 2017 to May 2018.

The focus on technology and data has been the main driver for this growth, it said, and the company expects to see similar expansion next year.

A number of key hires have been made to support Dave Naylor who was brought on board last year as chief technical officer.

Andrew Kay has been appointed as IT and infrastructure manager, bringing specialist expertise that allows the business to offer a fully scalable redundant solution for all projects running on the latest cloud-based technologies.

Alina Dracopol joins the team as senior test analyst, while other new members in the development and operations team include Jamie Peterson as data analyst, Andy Nolan as data executive, Steph Harper as junior data executive, and Vonnie Voong as junior application developer.

Jonathan Clough, director at ResearchBods, said:: “Our vision is to continually upgrade traditional research techniques, producing quicker, deeper and more impactful insights. Having the right in-house team of experts allows us to offer best in class, highly tailored solutions to clients, ensuring that we contribute towards business change. We have some very exciting advancements to focus on in the next few months and expect to see further growth in the development team to support this.”

In addition, ResearchBods hs increased staffing across the business to service client relationships. It recently welcomed Peter Strachan as client services manager, Adam Simpson as account manager, Lucy Alexander as community manager, and Taryn Moss as marketing manager.
