Asset finance firm expands in Harrogate

Asset finance firm Ethos has relocated to larger premises in Harrogate on the back of strong growth.

Based at Hornbeam Park previously, the firm has chosen to retain its Harrogate location by moving to a larger office suite in the Innovation Centre on the same business park.

The firm said its growth is attributed to its strong presence in the chauffeur and private hire sectors as well as a growing position in both the prestige cars and agriculture sectors.

Ethos Finance was set up in Harrogate in 2007 by Chris Brown after 20 years in the banking industry.

The business now employs eight people.

Brown said: “The new office provides the team with a modern facility which is also a fantastic space for customer visits.

“I started the business in Harrogate and the head office will always remain here. Hornbeam Park is a fantastic location, with access to national rail, which is now imperative due to our expanding UK operation.

“Myself and the team are delighted with the recent growth especially as it is in line with our strategic ambition for the next two-three years.

“We are also delighted that 90% of our business comes from referrals.

“We are expanding into new sectors, one of which is agriculture. We look forward to demonstrating our capabilities in this sector, amongst others, to visitors of the Great Yorkshire Show in July.”
