Private hospital opens in South Yorkshire with seven-figure funding package
A new private healthcare provider has opened in Rotherham with support of a seven-figure funding package from HSBC UK.
Kinvara Private Hospital is a multi-speciality hospital, introducing treatments in fields of Orthopaedics, ENT, Gynaecology, General surgery and Plastic/Cosmetic surgery.
The private hospital currently operates a four bed facility, each with ensuite facilities. The next two stages of planned refurbishment could increase Kinvara’s capacity to up to 30 beds spanning two floors, with the range of available treatments also expanding.
More than 30 jobs have been created with the opening of Kinvara, but this figure is expected to rise to over 100 roles once the hospital is at full capacity.

Our first private healthcare centre, The Karri Clinic is extremely successful and has taught us that patients essentially want the highest level of experiential service – mirrored by the high quality interiors and standard of surgery.
“We will adopt the same values that created success at The Karri Clinic here but on a much larger scale. We believe opening Kinvara will improve the standard of care available to patients across the North of England. We are already booked up until April, so it’s been a very promising start to the business.”

The Karri Clinic was established in 2015 to offer bespoke cosmetic treatments to customers across East Yorkshire. The original facility, which specialises in offering reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery, will continue to operate alongside the new Kinvara Private Hospital in Rotherham.
