People: Property investor adds to asset management team; Addleshaw Goddard expands global investigations practice; and more

Leeds-based property investor and car park operator Town Centre Securities (TCS) is expanding its estates management team with the appointment of Alice Garrett as trainee asset manager for the Merrion Centre, its largest single scheme.

A real estate first class honours graduate from Northumbria University, Garrett will be responsible for the ongoing asset management and growth in value of the Merrion Centre’s retail elements.

She joins with a range of experience gained following positions with Harworth Estates in Sheffield working across their managed assets; Gent Visick in Leeds supporting the industrial agency teams and Bilfinger GVA in Leeds where she rotated across teams, including lease consultancy, restructuring and recovery, agency and hotel/leisure.

She also worked at Knight Frank in Leeds in the commercial valuation department.

Addleshaw Goddard has expanded its global investigations team into the Yorkshire market with the appointment of Leeds-based legal director Adrian Mansbridge from TLT.

Mansbridge, who will be joined by newly qualified associate India Haresign, is a regulatory specialist dealing with the compliance and contested aspects of various regimes which attract criminal and disciplinary sanctions.

His expertise includes providing compliance advice and responding to investigations and prosecutions within the health and safety, food safety and hygiene, fire safety, product safety and environmental sectors. He also has extensive experience advising and defending companies and industry bodies on Trading and Advertising Standards matters.

ResQ, the contact centre business, has hired Jon Hunter as CFO.

Hunter joins the Hull company after three years at RMS Group Holdings where he held the position of CFO.

He began his career training as a Chartered Accountant at PWC. He has since held number senior positions, which have included roles at investment and commercial banks.

“I am delighted to be welcoming someone of Jon’s calibre and experience to the team. He has enjoyed great success with a number of leading businesses in strategic roles and will I am sure make a real difference to our push to make ResQ an even more sustainable and trusted organisation,” said Nic Marshall, ResQ.
