Firm promoting healthier living is looking to expand

A West Yorkshire-based lifestyle centre has announced plans to increase its services.

Hub 26, in Cleckheaton, has created 17 jobs since it launched and the firm now intends to open a second site. The business has been trading for 18 months since Daniel Potticary and Amanda Castle took it over.

It operates from refurbished premises which include 60 office spaces, meeting rooms, a dining lounge with licensed bar, a gym and yoga studio – all open for public membership.

Director and owner Potticary, said: “Hub 26 is here to provide its users with a more positive work-life balance.

“Our team recognises the enormous benefits of combining hard work, socialising, enjoyment, relaxation and exercise; the result is increased well-being and productivity.

“We are passionate about creating a vibrant, exciting and enjoyable workplace for each person that walks through the door.

“Our growth has been steady but rather rapid, as we now have 17 employees. Our offices were nearly filled within 12 months of opening our doors – which is a phenomenal feat for a new business and brand.

“Our gym has nearly reached it’s 1,000 membership capacity and we’ve set a cap, to guarantee the personal experience for everyone.”

He added the company wants to open another site within the coming months, while seeking fresh opportunities within the fitness and business sectors, to ensure provision of a cutting-edge service.

He said the firm places a strong emphasis on its green credentials. It has abolished plastic cup use and straws in the gym, and developed a “green footprint strategy” which is due to launch shortly.
