Barclays secures deal with Kings Security

KINGS Security Systems has agreed a funding deal to help with its strategic growth plans.

The move to Barclays includes funding for the Bradford-based business that will provide working capital, sales finance and funding through the new National Loan Guarantee Scheme (NLGS).

Established in 1968, Kings Security Systems provides a range of security systems to the market.

Anthony King, managing director of Kings Security Systems, said: “We’ve recently secured new contracts and felt that the time was right to find a new financial partner to support us in the next phase of our growth strategy.

“Barclays has provided a suite of banking products which includes working capital, sales finance and the new National Loan Guarantee Scheme, giving us the confidence and flexibility to explore new markets.”

The company employs more than 400 staff and has a turnover of £25m.

Richard Howarth, relationship director at Barclays, said: “It’s great to see Kings Security Systems continuing to develop and expand despite the current economic climate. The new funding means that the company is well placed to take advantage of opportunities arising and leaves the business well positioned for further growth within its chosen markets.”

Kings Security Systems was advised on the tie-up with Barclays by Clough & Co Accountants and Williams Finance.
