Tech splinter business launches with backing from entrepreneur

THREE members of the former Blue Logic Networks and Electrical team have broken away to set up their own business, backed by another entrepreneur.

Dynamic Networks launched last month as a stand-alone data networks, support and security systems firm.

Matthew Briggs is the entrepreneur that has joined the board of the new company as a non-executive director.

He founded corporate and commercial law firm Brilliant Law, now called Genus Law. as well as chief executive roles with Aviva and Capita. Mr Briggs also ran the $1.6bn sale of the RAC in 2011.

Mr Briggs said: “I’m very alive to the challenges small business face, and I see huge potential for James and his team to grow the firm from their already impressive platform,”

“I believe that my experience, coupled with their drive and expertise, has the potential to be a winning combination.

“My role is to help Dynamic Networks develop a suite of sustainable, market-leading services that add value to their current clients as well as attracting new clients from new sectors.”

Dynamic Networks founder and owner James Baird says: “I’m very happy to have secured Matthew’s support. He has founded, developed and sold a number of very successful businesses, and the blend of startup, SME and corporate experience that he brings to the team will be invaluable in helping us achieve our growth plans.”
