Leeds entertainment group invests £2.2m in expansion

LEEDS-BASED business the Burning Night Group has opened its doors on a new £2.2m site.

The firm has opened a Bierkeller Entertainment Complex in Cardiff, in addition to two other sites in Liverpool and Manchester.

The 24,000 sq ft Welsh site has three bars and a capacity of 1,000. It contains a Bierkeller, Bavarian-style bar, Shooters Sports Bar & Grill, as well as an Around the World Bar.

Peter Robinson, Operations Director at the Bierkeller Entertainment Complex, said: “We’re really excited to be expanding our bars into other cities across the UK, but we’re still very much a Yorkshire group, proud of our roots!”

“We’ve opened in other locations across the UK, but none have been quite as extensive as Cardiff. The Cardiff complex has been in the pipeline for some two years now, and although it has been a long time coming, it’s great to finally see the venue open.
