Specialist dental practice all smiles as bank funding secures launch

A PRIVATE dental surgery that will be staffed by some of the region’s leading specialists has opened in Leeds.

Supported by funding from The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), specialist oral surgeon Dr Abdul Dalghous, who is associate specialist in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Pinderfields Hospital in Wakefield, is behind the opening of the Yorkshire Dental Suite on Oakwood Lane.

The launch has created 10 jobs.

Located in the property of the former Chapelock Doctors Surgery, Yorkshire Dental Suite offers a range of routine dentistry services as well as a wide variety of cosmetic treatments including bridges, crowns, dentures, implants, porcelain inlays, straightening, teeth whitening and veneers, Botox and fillers.

RBS has supported the launch of the practice and the funding provided has enabled Dr Dalghous to acquire and fully renovate the property, creating a new reception area, two surgery rooms, a sedation and recovery suite, a CT scanning room, waiting areas and offices.  The surgery also has on site car parking.

Dr Dalghous said: “I am really pleased that the surgery is up and running. We have created a first class practice that is comfortable and equipped with the latest technology and we intend to offer the best possible care to all of our patients by providing a wide range of treatments and access to specialist consultants.

“The support I have received from Duncan Schofield and his team at RBS has been excellent and has enabled me to get this venture up and running for the benefit of the local community.”

Duncan Schofield, healthcare manager at RBS, said: “The Yorkshire Dental Suite is a fantastic facility and I am pleased that we have been able to support its development. By creating a surgery where patients can access other dental specialists, Dr Dalghous has created a truly outstanding service that offers a superior level of care.”
