Harrogate business park full after latest deal

A NEWLY launched steel stockholder has taken the final unit at a Harrogate business park.

Carter Jonas completed the letting of the last remaining industrial unit at Saltergate Business Park, which has been let on a five-year deal to Harrogate Steel Company.

Launched by directors Richard Searle and Dan Worsell, the business provides a variety of steel products to the Yorkshire market.

Saltergate Business Park comprises seven industrial units totalling 17,000 sq ft and is located adjacent to the Army Foundation College.  

Tom Brown at Carter Jonas, said: “The letting of this final unit reinforces the attractiveness of Saltergate Business Park both in terms of quality of space and location. The Harrogate Steel Company is a recently formed business and this new premises will ensure it has the facilities in place to expand its operations.”

Mr Searle added: “Myself and Dan have 35 years combined experience in the steel industry. We felt Saltergate Business Park provided us with the perfect location to establish ourselves as an independent supplier of steelwork in Yorkshire. The efficient layout of the warehouse enables us to maximise the use of the space allowing us to stock a wide range of products for our strong client base.”
