New FD at Derby training company

Develop Training (DTL), the Derby training and consultancy specialist, has appointed Simon Kelsall as finance director.

Kelsall, who has nearly 20 years’ experience, focusing mainly in funding business acquisitions, was involved with the original purchase of DTL when he worked for Barclays Ventures.

The appointment complements other recent additions to the finance team based at the company’s head office in Derby, including Maureen Warburton as a credit controller, Sue McComish as a credit controller, Chris Cole as a financial controller and Louise Mitchell finance assistant.

John Kerr, operations director at DTL, said: “We welcome Simon to the company and feel he is best placed to lead the team, as he is very well informed about the business. We look forward to the fresh perspective Simon will bring, which will no doubt drive us further forward.”
