Timico gallops towards Gold Cup sponsorship

The coveted Cheltenham Gold Cup has arrived at new sponsor – Newark-based Timico Technology Group.
Presenting the trophy was Timico’s CEO, Tim Radford, whose family have long been associated with horse racing, as owners of frequent runners Knock House, Somersby, Calgary Bay and Racing Demon.
He said: “It’s a real honour to have been chosen as the new sponsor of the Cheltenham Gold Cup and seeing the Timico name emblazoned on such an iconic symbol of jump racing is truly fantastic. With a month to go to the start of The FestivalTM, the countdown is well and truly on, and all of us here at Timico are really looking forward to seeing what this year’s Festival has in store.”
The high profile sponsor spot for the Cheltenham Gold Cup, the feature race at The Festival, became available for the first time in 36 years, at the end of last year.
