Major Nottingham office scheme tipped for approval

Bildurn’s 62,775 sq ft office scheme on Station Street has been recommended for approval a month after a decision on giving it the go-ahead was deferred by councillors because of concerns about its appearance.
The building, at 11 Station Street, had been expected to be given the go-ahead after the Council’s planning bosses recommended it for approval last, but architects had to redesign parts of the office development.
Now, Nottingham City Council’s Planning Comittee is expected to give the thumbs up to the revisions when it sits next Wednesday (19 September)
A statement from the committee said: “Since the application was deferred at planning committee on 15 August, changes have been made to the Station Street elevation.
“The revisions are felt to be an appropriate and considered response to the concerns raised by councillors at the last meeting.”
