On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Tritax Symmetry has announced the appointment of a new development director at its Northampton office.
Alex Reynolds joins the firm – the dedicated logistics developer of Tritax Big Box REIT – from Severn Trent, and has previously held roles with SEGRO, Advantage West Midlands and CBRE.
Richard Bowen, managing director at Tritax Symmetry, said: “Alex brings with him both extensive sector experience working on major industrial and logistics schemes whilst also having a strong relationship with the occupier-market.”
Reynolds added: “I have worked both in the private and public sector over my career, as well as acting as landowner and developer. This has given me a real appreciation on how to manage the numerous stakeholders involved in development, and how best to deliver market-facing schemes.. I look forward to bringing forward the large-scale logistics sites which Tritax Symmetry has under its control.”
Elsewhere, Leicestershire charity Menphys has welcomed Amanda Daly to its board of trustees.
Daly is the owner of The Turnaround CEO, a company created to support entrepreneurs and business owners who have become lost within their own business. She was previously the managing director of a successful telecoms and IT company.

Martin Traynor O.B.E, Menphys’ chair of trustees, said: “I am delighted to be able to welcome Amanda to our board of trustees. She has a wealth of experience and enthusiasm in so many different areas that will help our organisation as we move forward in 2020.”
Daly added: “I am thrilled to be taking on this role at Menphys and the opportunity to work with their fantastic team. I am extremely passionate about children and young people with disabilities having the equal right to take part fully in their community and believe wholeheartedly that they should have the same choices, opportunities and experiences as other children.”
