Plans revealed to extend city centre student scheme

A fresh planning application to extend a student accommodation scheme in Nottingham city centre will be filed this Spring, TheBusinessDesk.com understands.
More residential space could be added on the car park of Stanley House on Talbot Street in the city. While a planning application is being put together, developers from the Talbot Street Property Company want to turn the space into a public car park and charge visitors to the city centre £15 a day to leave their vehicles there.
Stanley House has recently been turned into a student living scheme with over 100 beds in what was known by locals as the Lamberts factory, as it was used by a lace firm of the same name until 1979.
