400-strong housebuilder reveals ‘ambitious’ development programme

Housebuilder William Davis Homes says it is about to embark on one of its most ambitious development programmes in the company’s 85-year history.
The firm says that two new sites have just opened and four more will be launched before the end of the year.
The Loughborough-based company, which employs around 400 people, currently has ten “live” developments across the Midlands. Over the next 12 months it will be building hundreds of properties in locations to help meet the ever growing demand for new homes.
Steve Rush, sales director at William Davis Homes, said: “The new programme of development is the culmination of years of hard work and detailed planning by everyone connected with the company.
“I am delighted we are still on track to deliver these high quality new homes.
“Great credit must go to our loyal workforce for their dedication in these challenging times. Our new developments are in fantastic locations and are ideal for families, couples or individuals.”
The latest site to open is in Castle Donington. Regency Park will have 183 two-, three- and four-bedroom properties, with 55 built in the initial phase.
This summer has also seen the launch of Lace Fields on the edge of Ruddington village in Nottinghamshire. The first phase of work on that development includes 57 properties as part of an overall total of 180 two-, three- and four-bedroom homes.
Over the coming months, four more sites will be launched in Leicestershire and Warwickshire. The first of these will be in August at Willowbrook in Loughborough, where 33 homes are being built.
