Agri-tech firm secures new orders in electronics division

Light Science Technologies Holdings (LSTH), the Derbyshire-based technology and contract electronics manufacturing (CEM) group has reported a strong performance for its CEM division in the pest control market.
Last week, the company secured £628,000 in new forward orders within its CEM division, surpassing previous records.
As a result, pest control revenues for this year are £825,000 (or 15%) higher than last year’s total for this segment.
The CEM division also received a £130,000 follow-on order from a client in the sports entertainment sector, following an initial contract in February 2024.
LSTH anticipates full-year revenues for the CEM segment to be between £9m and £9.5m. Trading in the company’s other two divisions remains steady.
Simon Deacon, CEO of LSTH said: “I’m delighted with the continued momentum within the CEM Division. Importantly we are establishing long-term relationships with clients that can underpin repeat business opportunities, which will result in increased visibility as we convert our strong quoted sales pipeline. We are excited by the significant opportunity within our existing and potential customer base and look forward to providing further updates in due course.”
