Is the East Midlands economy improving? Take our survey

Since the UK came out of recession, the East Midlands has continually led the way in economic growth in the regions outside of London and the south-east. But why is this?

In our East Midlands Economic Survey, we’re giving you the chance to tell us how your company is performing, how you intend to plan for growth, what challenges and opportunities you have identified going forward and whether you think the East Midlands is doing enough to attract inward investment to the region.

The East Midlands economy is worth some £95bn per year, and its various cities and town continue to throw up remarkable success stories. Derby has one of the highest take-home salaries in the UK, whilst Nottingham has been described as the “bellwether” of the UK economy by the governor of the Bank of England Mark Carney.
