Beer pong and mini golf bar set to open in Nottingham

Hockley’s bar revolution looks set to continue after another regional operator revealed plans to open in Nottingham.
Less than a week after TheBusinessDesk.com revealed that Mojo was set to open in the ground floor of 10 Thurland Street, we can this week tell you that Roxy Ballroom has applied for a license from Nottingham City Council to open on the first floor.
Roxy Ballroom has outlets in Leeds, Liverpool and Huddersfield. The bars play host to ping pong and pool, beer pong and mini golf alongside a menu that includes flatbread, burgers, mocktails, pizza and desserts.
Roxy Ballroom is part of the Jones Bar Group, which has been established for over a decade and has eight venues across the North. It was set up by brothers Matthew and Ben Jones. The brothers are reportedly aiming to expand the Roxy Ballroom concept to ten sites by 2020, before selling the brand.
