Leicestershire software firm lands $3m US Government deal

A Leicestershire software firm has won an order worth $3m with the US Government.

Intercede, which is based in Lutterworth, says the order is made up of software licenses and annual support and maintenance; more than $2.2m (£1.8m) of which will be carried out in the current financial year.

Richard Parris, Intercede CEO said: “This is one of the largest single orders ever received by Intercede and demonstrates that Intercede continues to win orders for its MyID technology platform in spite of the continuing budget constraints within the US Government. It reinforces the view that our products remain current and appropriate for some of the world’s most security sensitive customers.”
