Alfreton UPVC manufacturer sees profits rise by a fifth

UPVC windows and doors maker Eurocell has reported a “strong” set of year-end results this morning (March 8).

Revenue at the Alfreton firm rose by 16% to £205m, while profit before tax was up 21% to £24m.

Mark Kelly, chief executive of Eurocell, said: “2016 was a successful year for Eurocell. We reported good financial results and delivered a strong operational performance. We have also made excellent progress with our strategic priorities and continued to invest in the growth of our business.

“Looking forward, the markets in which we operate may be challenging, particularly if economic uncertainty undermines confidence. However, we have made a positive start to the new year and we are confident that continued delivery of our proven strategy will enable Eurocell to create value for our customers and shareholders throughout 2017 and beyond.”
