30 jobs to be created at new Derby gym

Gym City is set to open at Derby Riverlights as one of only three city centre based gyms. The move will create 30 jobs.

Taking 12,000 sq ft of fitness space Gym City at Derby Riverlights will be the flagship club for the brand and the first of a series of Gym City’s across the East Midlands.

Managing director, Nilufer Nathu said: “We are really excited about this site and proud to be commencing our venture at Riverlights in the city of Derby. With our fantastic USP of bringing the commercial gym, with the additional combat, dance and cross training, Gym City will give the public an option of training that engages members so that they will want to keep coming back. Furthermore, we have brought in top instructors and champions in their field to be housed and teach at this site on a one to one for enthusiasts as well as on a group basis.”
