Luxury manufacturer set to expand after bank deal

Relationship director Ashley Hallam joins Emerald House Associates owner Michael McNamara and his team.

A business specialising in the design and manufacture of luxury point of sale and display has moved to new premises following funding from Barclays.

Emerald House Associates has moved from its site in Kettering to a new 30,000 sq ft site in Corby.

The business, which was established in 1997, designs builds and installs high end point of sale and promotional display stands for the travel retail and domestic industry. It works for a number of blue chip clients including Chanel, Gucci, Jimmy Choo, Calvin Klein and Pernod Ricard and its work can be seen in a number of airports, department stores and retail outlets throughout the UK and further afield.

The business currently employs 50 people – with that figure expected to rise following the relocation.

Mick McNamara, owner of Emerald House Associates, said: “Owing to our growing client base, we had outgrown our former premises and it became necessary to find new premises that could support the growth of our business. Our growth has been accomplished with the help of a steady progressive path of young and vibrant staff. Our investment in apprentices and staff training means that we can confidently look forward to bright future of steady growth and an ever increasing order book. We are delighted to be in our new home which will support the business in years to come.”

Ashley Hallam, relationship director at Barclays supported by Jacquie Impey, supported the transaction. He said: “Emerald House Associates have seen a steady path of growth since their inception and have built up a good reputation in their industry. I am delighted we have been able to fund the move to the new site as well as the kitting out of the premises which will provide a platform on which they can continue to grow and develop the business.”

McNamara added: “Without the support from several parties the move would not have been possible. These include Corby Borough Council, Dermott at Meadows&Co, Gilbert Harvey at Budworth Hardcastle, Jacquie Impey and Ashley Hallam of Barclays and of course all of the staff at Emerald House whose support has been immeasurable.”
