On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Nottingham-based digital marketing agency, Hallam Internet, has promoted two long-standing employees to the Board of directors.

Newly-appointed marketing services director, Ben Wood, and sales director, Jake Elliott, both move into their new roles effective immediately.

Wood said: “The growth we’ve experienced over the past few years has been nothing short of phenomenal. This period of high growth has given me exposure to almost every aspect of business management and has enabled me to develop in ways that wouldn’t have been possible in a large organisation.

“Naturally I’m delighted to have been offered the chance to be part of the newly developed board at Hallam and I’m really looking forward to contributing to our continued growth over the next few years.”

Elliot added: “Being part of Hallam’s growth has been incredibly satisfying and I am excited to take a step up into Directorship.

The commercial surveying team at property consultancy, Wells McFarlane has been strengthened with the appointment of a new property administrator.

Tina Hall joins the Lutterworth-based firm to provide administrative and marketing support for the commercial surveying team. With a background in estates and project and office management, Hall joins Wells McFarlane following two years with GV Multimedia and seven years at the head office of travel company, TUI-UK.

“I wanted the opportunity to work within a really focused, professional team that could offer me a more diverse range of work,” said Hall. “I’m from Coventry, so knew of Wells McFarlane as one of the leading agents in the Leicestershire and Warwickshire area. When the position became available, I knew straight away that it was what I was looking for. I’m excited to join the team during such a milestone year for the business.”
