Plumbing and bathroom firm to create new jobs in Mansfield

East Midlands plumbing and bathroom firm is set to create three new jobs with the opening a new trade counter in Mansfield.
The Willbond Plumbing Centre on Kestral Road, just off Hermitage Lane in Mansfield, will open its doors for the first time on Monday 4 September.
Ray Wheatley, Willbond plumbing centres director, said: “We knew that there was a demand in Mansfield for our specialist knowledge and quality product range but even we have been taken aback by the reaction from local tradesmen.
“Ever since our name appeared on the building we’ve been inundated with requests for accounts and messages of goodwill. It certainly looks like Mansfield will be an ideal addition to our branch network.”
Willbond currently already has trade counters in Radford, Sherwood and West Bridgford, as well as across the East Midlands in Ilkeston, Derby, Chesterfield and Grantham.
Wheatley added: “Customers who come to us know that they will benefit from 120 years of experience and we strive to ensure that all our branches have approachable, professional and knowledgeable staff.”
With 12 years merchant experience, Luke Thomas has been appointed as the new sales manager at the Mansfield branch. He said: “I’ve spent five years learning the Willbond way at the Nottingham branch in Radford, so I can’t wait to get stuck in at the new trade counter.
“Three new jobs have been created with the opening and I hand-picked the team I’ll be working with, as I know how important it is to Willbond to have approachable, professional and knowledgeable staff that will give customers the best service possible.”
