NG continues with Ash Court success story

Richard Sutton and Glyn Windsor

Commercial property specialist NG Chartered Surveyors has brokered a deal for a shipping agency to move onto a new start-up scheme – just days after the scheme reached completion.

NG has let Unit 11 of the new Ash Court on the Moorgreen industrial estate in Eastwood to shipping agent Transatlantic Line UK.

Ash Court has been developed by Maplebeck Holdings on a speculative basis. Totalling 14,750 sq ft in 11 units its aimed specifically at smaller or start-up businesses, it brings the entire Moorgreen estate to over 300,000 sq ft.

Richard Sutton, director at NG Chartered Surveyors, said: “We wish Glyn and the Transatlantic team every success at Ash Court and hopefully they will remain as our tenants for a long time.

“The units are proving incredibly popular, with seven of the 11 under offer, and we expect all of them to go over the summer period. Maplebeck Holdings has proved before that, by being brave, speculative development can and does reap rewards. We’re absolutely delighted to be able to help market their latest project.”

Glyn Windsor of Transatlantic Shipping, said: “Transatlantic has been established for over 20 years. In the last few years there has been increased demand for our packing, crating and storage services. We have been looking for the last year for suitable premises and Ash Court with its proximity to the M1, reasonable lease and rental is exactly what we have been looking for.

“NG and Richard Sutton responded quickly to our initial enquiry and we were able to move very quickly enabling us to have access within a day of the Contractors handing over the site. I am very grateful to Richard for facilitating our move in such a short space of time as we needed these premises at the earliest, and I’m very impressed with the site itself and the quality of the unit. We’re looking forward to spending many years at this location.”
