Housebuilder reveals plans to build hundreds of homes in East Midlands

Housebuilder Miller Homes Midlands has revealed plans to bring more than 466 new homes to the East Midlands, with developments planned in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire.

The developments will be spread across four sites, including Melbourne in Derbyshire, Farnsfield in Nottinghamshire and Kibworth in Leicestershire.

Spring sees the launch of Augustus Grange in Farnsfield, a development of 60 three to five-bedroom homes near Sherwood Forest.

Later in the year, the firm will begin work on Centurion Place in Kibworth, a development of 110 two- to five-bedroom homes, followed by Victoria Gardens in Melbourne, which consist of 34 new properties.

Miller Homes is also building 334 properties in the West Midlands, across four sites in Warwickshire and Gloucester.

Alastair Parsons, area sales director for Miller Homes Midlands, said: “All our teams worked hard to ensure 2017 was a record-breaking year for us, with a total of 680 homes being built. Our plans to launch more developments are already underway and we’re confident we can exceed last year’s figure in the coming 12 months, helping even more people get on the property ladder.

“We’re also on course to build 648 homes on our popular existing sites, including Derby developments, Highfields, Dales View, Priory Grange, and Langley Country Park. We will also bring more properties to Knights Chase in Ashby-de-la-Zouch and Sovereign Park in Shrewsbury, providing even more choice for buyers in the region.”
