Fast-growing restaurant group heads to Nottingham
Fast-expanding restaurant group Mowgli is to open its first East Midlands site in June.
The Indian street food group was founded in 2014 in Liverpool and currently has four restaurants with three more confirmed openings.
It will launch in Hockley, Nottingham in June, sandwiched between a spring opening in Oxford and an autumn opening in Leeds. The group is also targeting to be open in Cardiff in spring 2019 while it is also looking to have a second Manchester restaurant.
The new restaurants will add to its existing sites in Birmingham, Manchester and two in its home city of Liverpool.

Mowgli is run by founder Nisha Katona and is backed by investment company Foresight Group, who came on board last July. It invested to support the growth of the business and brought on board Karen Jones as chair and Matthew Peck, former head of finance at upmarket casual dining chain Byron as finance director.
