On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

A learning and development professional with specialist experience of the Apprenticeship Levy has joined Develop Training Ltd (DTL) at its Derby headquarters.
For the past six years, Kate Whittaker has worked for private sector training providers in the field of apprenticeships, most latterly in a customer service role dealing with the implications of the Apprenticeship Levy. This followed 15 years with the Department for Work and Pensions where she was involved with the Welfare to Work programme.
She joins DTL as a Business Development Manager at DTL.
She said: “I was attracted to DTL by the company culture; everyone seems to feel valued. I am looking forward to working with a range of clients not only to ensure that their training needs are met but also to provide support and advice around the best use of the Apprenticeship Levy.”
The latest Orderwise intake
Saxilby-based OrderWise has added 15 more people to its team.
Joining the company’s technical support department are Brett Gleadle, William Charnock, Sam Dawson, Michael Jackman, Matthew Arloff, Maria Filby and Ben Dickinson.
OrderWise’s team of software trainers has also been strengthened with the addition of Lewis Strellis, Darren McCormick and Russell Essom .
Joining the project management department are Simon Stanham and Hayley Martin, whose roles will be to assist clients with the installation and implementation of software.
In the testing department Liam Gittins and apprentice Jack Chalkley join.
The eCommerce department is also growing, with Rafal Krawiec joining the team as a web developer.
Also joining the company are Daniel Howard, Adam Gatrick and Steph Oxford who are the new team responsible for preparing a range of hot and cold food in the firm’s staff café, The Hive.
