Broadmarsh East Car Park to close to make way for City Hub

How the new College will look

Nottingham City Council has announced that the Broadmarsh East Car Park will close on Friday 18 May, so that the site can be prepared for handover to Nottingham College in early June.

Nottingham College will construct a £58m building, which will host around 2,000 students a year and will include a café, training restaurant, performance theatre, business hub and green space. Construction of the new City Hub will take around two years, with the doors opening in September 2020.

The Council says that Early Bird parking will remain available at Sheriff’s Lodge (50 spaces) and Motorpoint Arena (700 spaces) Car Parks, with parking for intu Broadmarsh customers also available at the nearby Lace Market Car Park (500 spaces).
