Work begins on development of 100 homes in Ashbourne

An East Midlands housebuilder has begun work on site at a new development in Ashbourne.

Redrow Homes East Midlands has acquired 17-acre site for the construction of 113 three and four-bedroom homes on Wyaston Road.

Tim Ashton, site manager; Dan O’Rielly, groundwork supervisor; and Hazel Prosser, sales consultant; marked the start of work on site with a ‘groundbreaking’ ceremony at Redrow Homes East Midlands fifth development in the region.

Mary Timlin, sales director for Redrow Homes East Midlands, added: “We are delighted to have marked the beginning of work on site at Henmore Gardens. This development follows the success of our Oaklands Park development on Old Derby Road, which sold in record time.
