18th Century Lincolnshire pub let to local couple

A Sleaford pub which has been closed for a number of years, has re-opened after being let to a local couple.
The 18th Century Rose and Crown on Water Gate has recently been completely refurbished. The works included the reconfiguration of the upper floors to provide five ensuite letting bedrooms and a refurbished 2-3 bedroom domestic flat accommodation.
The property has been let to local couple Ryan and Holly Blankley, who previously operated Bar 51 on the High Street in Sleaford, which specialised in gins and craft beers.
Everard Cole director Jon Heald said, “Our clients put a lot of hard work into refurbishing the Rose & Crown and we wish Mr & Mrs Blankley all the best in taking the pub onto the next level. The Rose & Crown has enormous potential and during the course of our marketing we received tremendous interest from several operators.
“Despite a number of offers our client was understandably keen to ensure we secured the right operator for the business and we’re confident they have that with Ryan and Hollie and we’re sure they will make the pub a great success.”
